John Serut (born in 1955 – death 16 February 2022; Aged: 67 years old) was a well-known politician, media face, Member of parliament, Internet personality, and social media star from Nairobi, Kenya. He was popularly known as the former Mount Elgon Member of Parliament. He also contested many elections. Moreover, in 2013, he won the election and began serving the position of Mt Elgon MP till 2017.
Apart from this, he came into the limelight in February 2022 after his sad demise. Reportedly, he was passed away on 16 February 2022 due to cancer. According to the viral reports, Serut was suffering from several health problems. In January 2020, he was diagnosed with multiple myeloma and later doctors discovered that he had bone marrow cancer.
